Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model from 11 November 1996. Doody made her acting debut in a Bond movie, A View to a Kill in 1985. In 1989, she played Nazi-sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte in Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was approached by a photographer and began to perform the role of a model. Then she began a career of commercial modelling. Doody strictly avoided fashion, thongs and glamour when she was modeling. After catching the eye of the casting director for a James Bond movie, she participated of A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, she played Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as a forensic archaeologist in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having played alongside Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and the Final Crusade. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. In Hollywood Doody moved to. She took over Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson's character. She then played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. In 2004, Doody appeared in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. She later guest starred in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November 2018, she won the Almeria tierra de Cine Award as well as a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
